A new door is the single largest visual change you can make to the front of a house, and it is also the largest opening in the building envelope. Getting the insulation value, the panel style and the hardware right at install time matters more than the brand name on the box.
We measure the opening, headroom, backroom and side room in person rather than guessing from photos, because an inch of headroom decides whether you get a standard lift, low-headroom track or a wall-mount opener. Installation includes new track, springs matched to the finished door weight, hardware, opener pairing, balance testing and haul-away of the old door.

Door reversed every time it touched the floor. Turned out to be a sensor knocked out of alignment plus a worn roller. Fixed in about forty minutes.

Look at the springs above the door — a clean gap in the coil means a broken spring and the door should not be forced. Otherwise check that the opener has power, the wall button works, the photo-eye sensors at floor level are aligned and clean, and the door is not locked or disengaged from the trolley. If the door is heavy to lift by hand, stop and call.
Yes. We service rolling steel, coiling and sectional overhead doors for shops, warehouses, fleet bays and loading docks throughout Fox Island, including high-cycle spring and operator upgrades and scheduled preventive maintenance.
A standard single door is typically a half-day job and a double door most of a day. Custom, oversized or low-headroom installations occasionally run into a second visit.
If the garage is attached, shares a wall with a living space, or you use it as a workshop or gym, yes. It also makes the door noticeably quieter and stiffer, which matters more than most people expect.
Most Fox Island calls placed before mid-afternoon are handled the same day, and everything else is normally booked for the next morning. Our phone line at (877) 230-8949 is answered 24 hours a day, so emergency calls — a snapped spring, a door stuck open, a car trapped inside — go straight to a dispatcher rather than voicemail.
Usually a safety sensor issue or a down-force setting that is too sensitive. Sometimes it is a real obstruction, a worn roller binding in the track, or a door that has fallen out of balance. All four are quick to diagnose in person.
